locations

We are a mobile tea party service brought to your home or location of choice.  All locations must be indoors & must have clean drinking water and sink, electrical outlets, a garbage can, and a set up station (such as a kitchen counter top). We service Southeast Michigan; outside the 30 mile radius of our home office, there is a mileage fee of .60 cents per mile assessed.

Tables & chairs not provided.

how to book us?

We recommend booking at least 3-4 weeks in advance.  Message us on this site or via email to LaTeaDaTravelingTeaParty@yahoo.com or call/text our owner,  Lisa at 586-899-3502. A $50 non-refundable deposit to reserve your date is necessary to move forward with planning and is to be made by Venmo @LisaKokko17 

*NOTE* Your date is not secured until deposit is received. Deposits are DUE as soon as booking is confirmed and no more than ten days after confirming the date. Deposit is applied to remaining balance.

deposit/final payment

Deposits - As stated above, a $50 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a date. The date and time of your party is not guaranteed until the deposit is received.  Once your headcount (refer below) is confirmed, cancellation penalties will go into effect.

*We cannot refund the deposit if you cancel the date; however, we will allow your party to be moved to a mutually agreeable date if needed - this must be confirmed 10 days prior to originally scheduled date.


Payment - Final payment is due the day of the event. We accept cash paid in person or Venmo @LisaKokko17  


Gratuity - We do not include gratuity for most parties; however, parties of 15 guests and larger will be charged a 20% gratuity of the final total.


Mileage - We service primarily Southeast Michigan.  Any locations 30 miles outside of our home office in Sterling Heights will incur a .60 cents per mile mileage fee due at the time of final billing at the conclusion of the party. Mileage is based on each trip one way from home office to location.  

final Headcount and payment commitment

Headcount/Menu Selections  - The final headcount and menu selections are required 10 days prior to your scheduled event date. There is a minimum headcount of 8 guests. Upon confirmation, the headcount and total event costs are considered final.  

At this point:

  • The final balance becomes non-refundable.
  • The agreed-upon total must be paid in full by the scheduled event date, whether or not the event occurs.
  • No adjustments or refunds will be made for guest cancellations or no-shows.


If additional guests arrive who were not included in the final confirmed headcount, a per-person fee will be assessed and is due the day of based on the package selected. Place settings will not be provided for any additional guests, as all table settings and materials are prepared strictly according to the confirmed headcount. This ensures we are able to properly prepare, staff, and source all elements needed to provide a beautiful and seamless event experience.


Food Allergies & Dietary Considerations - While care is taken in preparation, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment and are not responsible for allergic reactions due to food or beverages served during or after the event.


Damage Fee - We know accidents happen, however, the tea sets we bring are vintage. Therefore, a $20 fee will be assessed per item damaged by a guest and will be payable via Venmo or cash on the day of the event.


Cancellations - Clients must provide either written cancellation or a final headcount no later than 10 days prior to the scheduled event date. 

  • All deposits are non-refundable.
  • Cancellations received 10 days or more prior to the event date will release the client from further payment obligations beyond the deposit.
  • Once a final headcount is submitted, the event is considered confirmed, and all payments become non-refundable.


Unforeseen Circumstances - LaTeaDa Traveling Tea Party Company LLC is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or inability to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather conditions, illness, power outages, venue issues, or other unforeseen events. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule when possible; however, refunds are not guaranteed.


Preparation , Set up & Clean up - We will arrive an hour and a half prior to the scheduled party time.  We also need at least an hour for clean up. Please have the tables and chairs set up in advance so we can decorate the area as soon as possible.  Please reserve parking close to the entry for us for easy access to load/unload.


Photography & Marketing - LaTeaDa Traveling Tea Party Company LLC may take photographs or videos during events for marketing and promotional purposes, including use on social media and our website. If you prefer that no photos be used, please notify us in writing prior to your event.

liability

LaTeaDa Traveling Tea Party Company LLC, its owners, staff, and assistants are not responsible for accidents, injuries, or damages of any kind that may occur during the time we are on the premises. The client assumes responsibility for the event location and all guests in attendance.

We are committed to treating your home or location of choice, along with all hosts and guests, with care, respect, and professionalism throughout the duration of the event.

By booking an event with LaTeaDa Traveling Tea Party Company LLC, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to the policies and procedures outlined above.
