We are a mobile tea party service brought to your home or location of choice. All locations must have clean drinking water, electricity and a set up station such as a kitchen preferably with a stove. We service Southeast Michigan; outside the 30 mile radius of our home office, there is a mileage fee of .60 cents per mile assessed.
how to book us?

A $50 non-refundable deposit to reserve your date is necessary and is to be mailed to the address below to book your party, via cash or check made payable to Lisa Kokko or to LaTeaDa Traveling Tea Party LLC, 14542 Joanise Drive, Sterling Heights, MI 48312. Venmo options available as well @LisaKokko17 *NOTE* Your date is not secured until deposit is received. Deposits are DUE as soon as booking is confirmed and no more than ten days after confirming the date. Deposit is applied to remaining balance.
deposit/final payment
As stated above, a $50 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a date. If we have to cancel your party for any reason, we will return your deposit to you. We cannot refund the deposit if you cancel the date; however, we will allow your party to be moved to a mutually agreeable date. The date and time of your party is not guaranteed until the deposit is received. Once your party is confirmed, cancellation penalties will go into effect. Final payment is due at the completion of the event. A $35 returned check fee will be applied to all checks retured due to banking guidelines.

Gratuity - We do not include gratuity for most parties; however, parties bigger than 20 guests will be charged a 20% gratuity.
Mileage - We service primarily Macomb and Oakland Counties. Any locations 30 miles outside of our home office in Sterling Heights will incur a .60 cents per mile mileage fee due at the time of final billing at the conclusion of the party. Mileage is based on each trip one way from home office to location.
Booking notice, schedule and cancellation
We recommend booking at least 3-4 weeks in advance. Occasionally, parties can be booked with no less than a seven day notice for a rush fee of $75 in addition to the $50 deposit.
Cancellations up to and including the 14th day prior to the scheduled date will be refunded; less than 14 days prior to the party is non-refundable. At the time of a timely and proper cancellation, we will attempt to reschedule to a mutually agreed date.
We will contact you 5 days prior to your party for a final head count, for dietary cautions and for your food options. If you have any "no shows" for any reason, you will still be charged for unattended guests at the time of your party, based on the final headcount. Sorry, no deductions are given for no-show attendees. Note there is an 8 guest minimum.
Rainy Day or High Winds - If your party is scheduled to be hosted outdoors, please make alternative arrangements for indoor service in the event of rain or high winds. Our cancellation policy applies to weather related events as well.
Preparation , Set up and Clean up - We will arrive an hour and a half prior to the scheduled party time. We also need at least an hour for clean up. Please provide enough space for the tea party tables and chairs, which can be brought with us at a additional cost, or you can use your own. If you use your own, please have them set up in advance so we can decorate the area as soon as possible. Please reserve parking close to the entry for us for easy access to load/unload.
special diet restrictions
If any guests have special dietary restrictions, please advise at the time of the head count five days prior to the party. We are not responsible or liable at any time for an allergic or adverse reaction to any food or drink provided. NOTE There is an upcharge of $5.00 per person requiring gluten free options. Some items may not coincide with the menu chosen by client. Dairy, Nut and Vegan free options are NOT available.

LaTeaDa Traveling Tea Party Company LLC, owners, staff, hosts, outside help and assistants assume no responsibility or liability for accidents of any nature or damages caused during the time we are on the premises. From the time of arrival until we depart, we will ensure that your home or location of choice, the host and guests are treated with great care, respect and attention. LaTeaDa Traveling Tea Party Company LLC is not responsible for allergic reactions due to food or beverage served during or at any time after the party.
